The Society has indicated support for private member's bill designed to provide a dedicated legal framework for surrogacy. The bill also addresses the rights and responsibilities of all parties, prior to the child being born.

As might be expected, most nurses report that workload from COVID-19 and influenza remains “challenging” or otherwise “unsatisfactory”. This is shown in data from two surveys conducted this month (July 2022) by the Society.
