Since formally giving Te Whatu Ora notice of our intention to negotiate a CEA with Te Whatu Ora last year, we have had a series of pre-negotiation meetings with the Te Whatu Ora negotiators and senior leadership to advance the process.
Bargaining proper is scheduled to commence shortly.
We recently provided Te Whatu Ora with some data on our membership employed by Te Whatu Ora to assist with costing a likely settlement.
Technically, our negotiations are done by the Society through our registered union arm (Te Uniana o NSNZ – the Union of the Nurses Society of New Zealand).
