This month the Society has settled two new collective employment agreements (CEAs).

One is an agreement for urgent care nurses employed by Shorecare, a leading urgent care chain.   This is a renewal of an agreement we have negotiated over many years.

The other is a new collective for nurses and other clinical staff employed by Otago Community Hospice (OCH).   They were previously under a Hospice MECA.

Nurses Society director David Wills says in both cases agreements have been achieved that work well for all parties.
